Adoptable Dogs

Sheba is a ~9 year old ~80lb malamute who is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. She was raised in the village of McGrath off the road system. Unfortunately her elderly owner in McGrath passed away, leaving her nowhere to go. We took her in as a foster to help her find a couch to live out her golden years! Sheba is incredibly smart with a lot of big dog attitude and personality. She is fully house trained, knows basic commands (sit, stay, shake, speak), and will do anything to please you! She has cute bursts of talkative moments when she's excited, and she's a giant cuddle bug. She's the perfect age where she's old enough to be mature, but young enough to still be up for an adventure. When she gets stoked about something she has the most adorable bouts of zoomies. Sheba rides well in the car, and she's mostly easy to walk on a leash - though she will pull hard if she sees something she wants to smell. She adores being brushed, which is good because she sheds like nobody's business in the spring (as all good malamutes do)! Sheba is not reliable off leash, so any potential new owner must be committed to keeping her on a leash or on a secure tie out.
